Improved accuracy

The latest version of TrueView People Counter™ embedded has been further optimized for higher accuracy and reliability. The new version gives higher accuracy also at lower heights. A recent manual count done by a large international retail chain resulted in 173 counts including two children compared to 171 counts reported by TrueView People Counter™ embedded running on an Axis 212PTZ.

Improved data management

Users of TrueView People Counter™ embedded now have the option to let the camera upload data directly to a remote server like for example TrueView Web Report™. This removes the problems encountered with for example fire walls when downloading data from a remote server. The new upload functionality comes in all the supported cameras.

The software installs easily as a new firmware on the camera. After installing the software the camera can be used both as a people counter and a camera. The embedded counting solution requires no additional hardware or software.
